Local Budget Summaries (Comparative Report)

This page allows you view and compare local budget summaries. A budget summary provides an overview of the main revenue categories of an LGA (including own source revenues, central-local transfers, and borrowing) as well as the expenditure categories contained in each local budget (recurrent and development expenditures). Greater detail on each of these budget categories can be produced by using the other monitoring reports.

If you are interested in comparing the LGA Budget Summary for several different local government councils, please select (1) a reporting period, (2) the "comparison set" (the group of local councils that you would like to compare); and (3) the desired unit (TShs. millions or TShs. per capita). You may choose the table to show either the budgeted amounts, cumulative actual outcomes for the period under consideration, or the performance ratio (actual outcome as a percent of the budgeted amount).
